Exclude Folders from search in VS Code

If you have any asset folders or node modules in your workspace can really clutter up your search. Excluding these from the results is really simply way to make your coding much snappier!

Go to File > Preferences > Settings.

Click on workspace and enter search in the search box above it. After which you should be able to see the following piece of configuration:

Clicking on the add pattern allows you to add another location to the list.

Enabling exclusion filters

When you have finished adding the folders to the exclude settings you need to make sure to enable the inclusion filters by clicking on the button in the bottom right corner.
