Importing Sharepoint Files into Power BI

Go to Get Data and select Sharepoint Folder.

Fill in the sharepoint site url and press ok. In the next screen click on transform data. Now Power Query Editor will open showing you all the files in a long list. We need to narrow this down to a single file or set of grouped files by filtering the name column.

Once you have selected the file you want to import you have to click on the content expansion button. The double down arrows on the right of content.

This will open up a combine files window.

In the dropdown select the file you want to process and click on the sheet name you want to import. Once you have done that click on OK to import the data into Power BI.
