Turn off your screen after a few minutes

Turn off your linux server screen after a time of no activity.

If you are using a laptop for your server it's best to turn off your screen after a while to prevent burn in. Using the following command the screen will turn blank in 1 minute and powerdown in 2 minutes.

setterm --blank 1 --powerdown 2
